Before Big Day Out begins to cart around Australia, it kicks off in Auckland, New Zealand with a cavalry of internationally renowned superstars and a plethora of local acts.

With a line-up almost identical to its Australian counterpart Neil Young and Arctic Monkeys are rumoured to be performing but with Slipknot, Lily Allen and 2ManyDJs playing in the past anyone could be booked.

But whoever makes the grade - it's going to be one Big Day Out!
