Global Gathering 2005
United Kingdom | |
31 July 2005
Long Marston, Stratford-On-Avon. 29-30 July
Along with the new canvassed village there's a fairground, air displays, hot tubs and showers, a chill
out village, a beach, 11 hours of live broadcast on Radio 1 and the worlds most popular dance jocks. It's billed as the
UK's largest dance fest and, as ever, is a very special date in the clubbers calendar.
Ready to get the party started in true fashion are the likes of Radio 1's Pete Tong. Mancy maniacs Happy
Mondays, the west country's finest Kosheen, dance music papas Underworld, cut-up
masters Scratch Perverts, current favourite Mylo, and a VIP area hosted by West London's
legendary Norman Jay - all providing a tingling Friday night of variety.
Saturday has the addition of three more arenas, a ship load more DJ's, and hours more hard and fast dance music,
all of which is bound to have the 50,000 shiny, happy Godskitchen crowd quite literally foaming at the orifice.
Leaving our clubbing shoes at home, VF travels up to the midlands to get on it and
see if we've got the clout to push the tempo on throughout these 37 hours of madness. Click on the links below to see...
