GLOBAL GATHERING 2008

Global Gathering is back as a full two-day festival after its expansion from a one-day affair in 2005. The event is one of the original dance music festivals and always packs in the biggest names from the genre with the likes of Faithless, 2Many DJs and Paul Van Dyk all performing last year.

Friday has the eclectic live acts performing across over arenas from around 5pm until 2am. Then the dance dons grab their headphones and pump out tunes on the ones and twos all through Saturday until dawn.

Away from the music there is an adrenaline village with a bungee jump and other extreme rides, a fairground, hot-air balloon trips, an open air cinema, and a chill out village for ravers who need a break from the beats.
