Guilfest's feet are firmly fixed as a family-friendly festival having scooped the Best Family Festival at the UK Festival Awards in 2006. Aside from the rock, pop and reggae acts on the main stage there is aural stimulation available in the form of acoustic, dance and rock/metal tents around the site. Street theatre, comedy, art and craft exhibitions and a theatre tent also takes place over the weekend.

With a 150 foot bar, excellent onsite facilities, a variety of food and real ale, plus an extensive KidZone the three-day event feels more like a long weekend than a festival.less
