La Route du Rock Festival is held in the crumbling remains of a French castle in the city of Saint-Malo, Northern France.
The pop and electronic festival will have been going for 16 years after this year's event.The likes of Portishead, The Cure and Franz Ferdinand have all performed in previous years with newly reformed The Smashing Pumpkins making an appearance at this festival.
