Road To V finalists announced

The 14 finalists who will go on to battle it out for a coveted slot at V Festival have been unveiled.

14 acts were whittled down from more than 2,000 entries to the Road To V competition, which will see two bands open each leg of the festival in Chelmsford and Staffordshire.

Sponsored by Virgin Mobile, the contest asked users to rate and comment on bands before a panel of music industry experts selected the final 14.

The finalists are:

3. Dylan James
4. India Mill
5. Johnny Foreigner
6. The Jubilees
7. Kagura
8. Maxfield
9. New Cassettes
10. The Guests
11. Our Fold
12. The Outside Royalty
13. Rosalita
14. Seven Heroes

The bands will now go on to perform at live gigs in Liverpool and London in front of fans, industry experts and Channel 4 cameras, before two winners are selected. Stay posted for how you can be there!
