Virtual Festivals: So how are you guys all doing today?
Philip Cambell (guitar): Pretty good but it's cold!

VF: You guys have played Monsters of Rock before; which do you think is better - Monsters of Rock or Download?
Lemmy Kilmister (vocals & bass): I dunno, I came here to see the ZZ Top once and that was pretty good but it was a long time ago.
PC: Yeah, Monsters was quite some time ago but this one seems alright! I hope it doesn't rain though! What do you think?

VF: Fingers crossed-it's held off for most of the festival!
PC: Well we don't care because we're in the tent so we're ok! [group sniggering]

VF: You've got a massive tour planned at the end of the year for your 30th anniversary. How are you going to survive it?
Mikkey Dee (drums): Like every other year. Our tours don't run into each other, it's a constant thing.
LK: Yeah, we've been touring for about 25 years.
PC: We have a couple of weeks off here and there but then we get back on the road.
LK: We're used to it - it's what we do.

VF: How do you feel about touring with Motley Crue in Australia?
LK: It's fine, it should be funny watching them all looking at our bottles of beer and f**king whiskey and cokes!
PC: Think of the money we'll save them not going to rehab anymore!

VF: Who do you think will raise the most hell between you guys?
LK: Probably us nowadays but I don't know... Tommy's still a hell raiser.
PC: We may taunt them a bit but we don't mean it. They're good guys.
MD: You never know, it could be the most boring tour we've ever done but who knows? We could all go fishing or go and paint a house!
PC: Give them decaff coffee in their dressing room! Decaff!
LK: Yeah, or we could go to the pictures instead.

VF: Have you got any plans for a follow-up tour to "Inferno" at all?
LK: Not yet but in the New Year.
PC: Another album!
LK: Yeah, we're thinking of doing another album right now(!)
PC: We always do though don't we?
MD: We'll start working on it in January or February. Doing the tour will be enough for this year I think.
PC: We have a new DVD coming out in the next four to six weeks hopefully.
MD: It's called "Stage Fright"... very scary!

VF: Can you describe the process you go through when recording an album?
LK: We go into the studio and make a racket until we run out of time really!
VF: How long do you usually give yourself?
LK: Overall, about 3 months.
MD: We try to finish the album when we're satisfied but of course we're not into nit-picking to death over the songs. When we like it, we release it.

VF: How did you guys feel about beating Slipknot and Cradle of Filth to get the Grammy?
LK: I would have been just as happy as beating anybody. As long as we won, I don't care who else was involved.
MD: What was funny though was at the pre-party on the Saturday night before the show, when they (Slipknot) said you should be happy you've even been nominated. I think they were really sure they were going to take it.
PC: It was great watching one of the guys with their mask on and his assistant putting a cigarette in his mouth for him.
LK: They were all there with their masks on and then they didn't get it - what a drag.
PC: They're nice guys though...we've talked to them all before.
MD: I'd say we all deserved it but we obviously deserved it most because we won it.

VF: Have you got anything special planned for tonight?
LK: Yeah, I'm going to get breast implants, Phil's going to explode on stage and Mikkey's going back to Sweden at 6.30pm.
MD: No, I'm fixing a toaster instead of a drum solo.
PC: Fixing a toaster?
LK: That's not a bad idea...
PC: What are you talking about? You couldn't fix a toaster!

VF: Lemmy, you recently said that the older you get, the easier you find it to pull girls. Could you give us a chat up line?
LK: I think they're fascinated by the horror of it all really. You know in horror movies when they walk down to a basement or up the stairs to a slamming door? Chicks always do that!

VF: Is there anything else you'd like to add before we go?
LK: Not at all - now where's the bar?
