I'm in arena one, with Sasha, Diggers, etc.

How does Homelands compare to all the other UK festivals?

Dunno really, I don't normally play many of them. It compares well to the international ones though.

What's been your favourite Homelands moment thus?

The Ministry of Sound House Party tent in 2000 (I think!) I got to play Bowie, Haircut 100 and Grandmaster Flash, so it was a gas.

And your worst Homelands moment?

The mud that very same year!

Will you be sticking around and making a day of it at Homelands?

I'm planning on it.

Who should we look out for?

Jeff Mills obviously. Soulwax are another must, Grandmaster Flash, Derrick Carter. There's loads on...

Who's your hot tip for 2003?

God knows! Maybe Jeff Bennett, an awesome producer.

Tell us about your new Global Underground compilation...

It's a double CD, based around the fact that DJing and music are part of my life 24/7. Therefore it reflects what I play in a club, what I listen to at home at night, in the morning, before I go to bed etc. Less than half the album is house, and I'm really happy with it.

Have you been busy in the studio lately on your own material?

No! I wish ...just been cracking on with this CD. I've got a couple of bits coming out on Yoshitoshi soon, but they were recorded a while back.

What are doing for the rest of the year... Ibiza, other festivals, Global Underground tour?

Global Underground tour... spot on! I will spend a large chunk in the States, as well as doing the usual Ibiza bits and some European festivals. I imagine I'll be gigging for much of the remainder of the year. I doubt I'll be playing my Haircut 100 too much though!
