Geoff Goringe, spokesman for Eve Trackway, which supplies the fence, said: "Following on from the continued
success of the Super Fortress Fence at this year's Glastonbury, it has been decided it would be the best product to protect
the most vulnerable parts of the Creamfields perimeter. It has helped keep unwanted fence jumpers out at numerous festivals
over the last few years and it has been breached only once ... by The SAS!"
Creamfields
takes places at Speke Airport, Liverpool, on Saturday, 28th August, featuring Scissor Sisters,
Paul Oakenfold, Sasha, and many more.

While statistically Creamfields has remained one of the UK's safest festivals since it started out seven years
ago, organisers have announced a number of improved security measures designed to make this year's event the most trouble-free
ever.
As well as the introduction of the fence, there will be increased numbers of stewards,
police, and security staff to help promote a safe and enjoyable atmosphere. More ticket checks, closer monitoring of
car parks, and enhanced lighting are all part of the plans.
Supt Graham Yip, of Merseyside Police, said: "We will
once again be working closely with Creamfields to ensure that this is the best event ever. We are building on last year's
success, which was undoubtedly the safest ever. As a result of working together, robberies were reduced by over 1000
per cent, with only two reported incidents."
