Want to become a festival organiser?

Having already persuaded the Happy Mondays to reunite for this summer's Get Loaded In The Park festival, promoters Get Loaded are looking for energetic young minds to help make next year's one-day event even bigger.

Headliners for the follow-up festival, scheduled to take place next August, are currently being targeted, with organisers intent on reuniting another legendary band from the past. VF can exclusively reveal that top of the list is a group who haven't played together for more than 20 years!!

You could be part of it all by proving yourself as a promoter for the Get Loaded alternative music nights, which take place monthly in London nightclub Turnmills and feature some of the best new bands and iconic DJs.

Promoter Kate Taylor told VF: "Now that all the universities are back, we're looking for enthusiastic students to help make Get Loaded the busiest and best student night in London. Not only will you get paid but you could become one of the team, working alongside our DJing regulars Shaun Ryder and the rest of his Madchester crew."

The job itself entails promoting the events within London universities, as creatively as possible, using flyers and posters provided by Get Loaded. For every person you get through the door you'll get £2!

And if you prove your worth, you could be invited to help promote and organise next summer's Get Loaded In The Park festival, giving you a blinding CV reference, a bit of summer pocket money, and a glittering gateway into the live music industry!

To get involved just email: gavin@turnmills.co.uk.

The next Get Loaded night takes place next Thursday, 7th October, at Turnmills, Farringdon, featuring Shaun Ryder, Terry Hall and The Farm on the decks. Stay posted for an exclusive VF offer coming early next week.
