Motorhead to play at Download

Motorhead and five more bands have been confirmed to play the Snickers Stage at this year's Download Festival.

The UK rock legends will play on the Sunday alongside Donington debutants Mastodon.

Bullet For My Valentine return after wowing the crowds last year and Chimaira make a welcome comeback, having played the first ever Download festival in 2003.

In Flames and Lamb Of God will also perform at the rock festival for the first time, playing the Snickers Stage on the Saturday.

Download 2005 takes place at Donington Park between 10-12 June, extending to the Friday for the first time in its three year history.
