Get Loaded In The Park lineup

United Kingdom United Kingdom | | 06 May 2005

The Happy Mondays will be headlining Get Loaded In The Park for the second year running, the day long festivities once again taking place on London's Clapham Common - only this time on the August bank holiday Sunday (28) ... meaning we can all get even more loaded!

The Farm, Flowered Up, and Junior Boys Own Soundsystem will also be performing on the main stage, with DJ sets from Elbow, Snow Patrol and Stereo MCs interspersed with compering tomfoolery from The Cuban Brothers.

Elsewhere, Fatboy Slim and Armand Van Helden will be squaring up once again for a back-to-back clash in the Southern Fried Records Tent, backed up by Caged Baby and Grandad Bob (playing live) and DJ sets from Touche, Annie Mac, and DJ Deekline

'Early-bird' tickets are on sale priced £20 for a limited time. Click here to buy yours now!

Virtual Festivals will be hosting the Bands Of Tomorrow Tent, where two competion winning bands will get to play alongside exciting new talent, such as Mohair, Amusement Parks On Fire, Apartment, and Ambershades (whose single 'My Darling' is this week's NME 'Track Of The Week'.)

Other attractions include Howard Marx, who will be giving 'an audience with...' and Guilty Pleasures, where Sean Rowley and ex-Specials Terry Hall will be spinning all those tunes you know you shouldn't like, but secretly worship!

Tickets are yet to go on sale for Get Loaded In The Park, which last year won the UK Festival Award for 'Best New Festival', but watch this space. More acts are due to be confirmed in the coming months. Click here for more info, including the full line-up.
