Bestival takes place at Robin Hill Country Park, Isle Of Wight,
from 9-11 September. Click here for more and to buy tickets.
Following several enquiries from cricket-loving festival-goers nervous
about missing the final test of the nail-biting Ashes series, Bestival has vowed to do something about it.
Details
are still being finalised but it's looking like a big screen will be erected in the village area by the Band Stand, WI Tea
Tent and Temple Bar.
A Bestival spokesman said: "It means cricket fans will be able
to enjoy cream teas, champagne cocktails and fine music while watching the match - it is a civilised game after all!
There's even talk of setting up an impromptu game on the village green."
For
those who demand something a bit more exciting than cricket at a festival, The Magic Numbers, Royksopp,
and Super Furry Animals headline, with British Sea Power, The Longcut,
The Cuban Brothers, Erol Alkan, Hot Chip, Saint Etienne,
and loads more playing. Click here for the full lineup.
Weekend tickets are still available at just £89 with day tickets and
concessions available. For a full list of prices or to order yours click here.
