Fatboy Slim for Bondi NYE

Fatboy Slim is planning another massive beach party, this time a New Year's Eve bash on Bondi Beach in Sydney. It's the latest in a series of collosal coastal parties that have stretched the globe.

The beach-loving breakbeat jock will see in New Year 2006 with up to 15,000 revellers, playing a three-hour set from midnight.

The event follows other massive parties on the sands of Brighton, Miami and Copacabana in Rio.

However unlike its predecessors, the Shore Thing beach-bash will be fenced and ticketed. Similar events in Brighton and Rio, which were free, attracted more than a quarter of a million people each.

Organisers Fuzzy have also announced a massive New Year's Day party in Sydney with Roger Sanchez, Tiefschwarz, Krafty Kuts, Derrick Carter, Stereo MCs live, The Glimmers, Evil Nine, Swirl People, Soul of Man, Stanton Warriors, Kid Kenobi, and DJ Format all confirmed.

More DJs and artists are expected to be added to both events. Tickets go onsale on 18 October. For more information click here.
