New Zealand | |
31 October 2005
The travelling festival, featuring The White Stripes, Iggy Pop &
The Stooges, Franz Ferdinand, The Magic Numbers and more, stops at six cities in
Australia and New Zealand throughout January and February 2006.
The Sydney leg (26 Jan) has sold out in just two weeks,
but organisers have kept back 5,000 tickets to stop touts profiting from the popular music event.
500 tickets will be released every week for 10 weeks only, starting this Thursday (3 Nov) at 9pm Australian time.
There is a strict limit of two tickets per customer and organisers have once again confirmed that there will only be one Sydney event, quashing rumours that a second date may be added.
Tickets are currently still available for all other Big Day Out events. Click here for more info and for the lineup as it stands. More bands are expected to be announced soon.
