SXSW bands announced

The huge multimedia and music festival, which takes place from 15-19 March, is seen
as a proven way for UK and European bands to break into American markets.
The Cribs, The
Duke Spirit, The Earlies, Dirty Pretty Things, iForward Russia!,
Lady Sovereign, The Magic Numbers, Towers Of London, and KT Tunstall
are some of the other UK acts heading to Texas.
There will also be a large American presence headed up by
The Like, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Dengue Fever, The Adored, and
Be Your Own Pet.
Other acts include Luminous Orange (Japan), The Morning
After Girls (Australia), Jose Gonzalez (Sweden), and Dr Spock (Iceland).

The festival will also see a series of music seminars and speeches from well
known industry figures, including KD Lang, Chrissie Hynde, and Sam Moore.
Neil Young has been announced as keynote speaker for the 2006 event.
