They join The Strokes, The Darkness and Super Furry
Animals, all of whom were announced when the one day event was launched just before Christmas.
One
Earth takes place on Saturday, 28 January, in Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.
Inspired by the
success of Live 8 last year, the concert is designed to raise environmental awareness with the
specific goal of encouraging 1 million people across Europe to switch to renewable energy.
The one-off gig, which
will be televised around the continent, will feature speeches on the subject from well known figures, expected to include
Mikhael Gorbachev and Brian Eno.
Tickets for the historic concert are on sale now at £40 and are available here.
More acts
are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
