Two more for Reading and Leeds

Tool and Editors will play at this year's Reading and Leeds Festivals, according to sources
close to both bands.
Tool are believed to be part of the
heavier rock day, which usually happens on Friday at Leeds and Sunday at Reading, possibly second to the headliner whose identity
still remains a mystery.
Last week Virtual Festivals revealed that Franz Ferdinand and Muse
have been booked as the other two main stage headliners. Read here.
Editors have apparently been booked
to headline one night on the second stage.
We previously revealed that Arctic Monkeys had been
booked as another of the second stage headliners. However with album sales for their debut breaking
all known records last week, organisers may be forced into a rethink due to potential overcrowding in the limited
capacity tent.
Other bands rumoured to be playing include Kaiser Chiefs (performing before Franz
Ferdinand), Alice Cooper, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Secret Machines, Hard
Fi, Dirty Pretty Things, Boy Kill Boy, The Flaming Lips, Wolfmother
and Forward Russia!
All the above revelations are based on rumour and inside tip-offs and nothing
is yet confirmed. The first official lineup announcement is expected by Mean Fiddler in March.
Reading
and Leeds Festivals take place from 25-27 August at Little Johns Farm, Reading, and Bramham
Park, Leeds. Click on the links below for more information.
