Hard Fi to headline Orange Evolution
United Kingdom | |
22 February 2006
The band, who performed last year, will close proceedings on 29 May, the Bank Holiday Monday.
Orange Evolution is the North-East's biggest music festival, annually transforming the Newcastle and Gateshead Quaysides into a three-stage music site for 10 days - culminating in a huge show on the final day.
More than 30 bands are expected to take part. Last year's performers also included Mylo,
The Futureheads, Dizzee Rascal, and Super Furry Animals.
Orange Evolution is the second festival this week that Hard Fi have been confirmed to headline, following yesterday's announcement
that the band would be headlining the Saturday of Hi:Fi South.
