The band last played the Scottish festival in 2003 and make their return to play the Radio 1/NME Stage on Sunday 8 July.

T In The Park 2006 takes place on 8-9 July at Balado, Kinross, in Scotland.

Other bands already confirmed include Hard Fi, The Magic Numbers, Pharrell Williams, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, The Strokes, Richard Ashcroft, Sigur Ros, Kaiser Chiefs, and many more. Click here for the full lineup.

The event is totally sold out. More acts will be announced in the coming weeks, although the bulk of programming has already been done.
