The 1990s and Scissors For Lefty are the other acts recently confirmed for the three-day event, which takes place in Henham Park, Southwold, Suffolk, from 14-16 July.
The new festival, which aims to incorporate art, cabaret, comedy and poetry alongside the traditional fix of music, will be headlined by Snow Patrol, Antony And The Johnsons, and Mogwai.
Attractions already lined up include a Halloween Film Club, Robin Inge's Book Club, Guilty Pleasures, Lavish Cabaret, and a Children's Art and Theatre Area.
The brainchild of Mean Fiddler's Melvin Benn, who has helped mastermind the sucess of the Reading, Leeds and Glastonbury festivals in recent years, Latitude has been inspired by events from Europe, such as Lowlands in The Netherlands, as well as the cultured vibe of the Hay On Wye Festival.
