Glam star to wed at Glastonbury 2007

Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears has made public his hopes to tie the knot on-site at next year's Glastonbury festival, fuelling rumours that that band will be one of the headliners of the event which takes place from 22 to 24 June 2007.

The flamboyant singer has already asked longterm boyfriend [Yale art student] Chris, but admits he's not too keen on the lavish plans for the ceremony.

Shears spilled the beans gay magazine Attitude, saying "I want to get married at the next Glastonbury. (Chris) thinks it might be too much of a scenario but I think it'd be a great f**king party.

"We could have naked trannies jumping out of cakes and stuff. It'd be fun."

The high profile choice of location would, however, most probably rule out a lucrative exclusive photo deal with Hello! or OK!

Still, it would be a very cheap wedding as many of Shears' friends (including best pal Kylie Minogue - as good as confirmed to headline the festival) will already be there, and the reception party (the greatest festival on earth) will already be paid for.
