Barfly Gigs Announced For Electric Proms
United Kingdom | |
03 October 2006
The first ever BBC Electric Proms takes place at various venues throughout Camden from 25-29 October - and you'll be able to catch the action on all kinds of funky media if you can't make the shows.
While the main spotlight will be on the historic Roundhouse where The Who and Damon Albarn's new band The Good, The Bad and The Queen will be playing, there will also be some great action at the Barfly.
The Young Knives and Klaxons kick things off on the Wednesday night (25 October), before Jet and The View perform the following night (26th).
Friday (27th) sees Scott Matthews warming up for Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, while Larrikin Love and Pigeon Detectives will appear on the Saturday night (28th).
All Barfly gigs cost just £5 and are expected to sell out quickly.
A number of free early shows have also been announced, hosted by the likes of Radio 2, 6 Music and Radio 3, which are all taking place in the FREEDM Studio at the Roundhouse.
