Muse and more for Big Day Out

Muse, The Killers, My Chemical Romance, Jet and Tool are among the first acts confirmed for the Big Day Out festival tour which rolls through New Zealand and Australia early next year...

Tool, Peaches, The Violent Femmes and The Sleepy Jackson will also play on the antibodean tour, which takes in six dates between 19 January and 4 February.

The Big Day Out 2007 lineup is arguably the strongest in years, following accusations in 2004 that the festival was no longer able to attract the biggest international names.

Now in its 15th year, many more international and Australian acts are expected to be added to the bill in due course.

Gold Coast Parklands (21)
Sydney Showgrounds (25)
Melbourne Princes Park South (28)
Adelaide Royal Showground (February 2)
Perth Claremont Showground (4)
