More Acts For Wychwood Festival

Wychwood Festival has revealed several more names for its 2007 three-day event. Organisers have also unveiled details of a special Christmas VIP offer, where you or a loved one can hang out backstage with the bands...

Wychwood Music Festival takes place on Cheltenham Racecourse, Cheltenham, from 1-3 June, 2007. Buy tickets here.

Having already announced The Levellers to headline the Friday night, organisers have recently added Woodstock original Country Joe MacDonald, songstress Martha Tilston and Robyn Hitchcock with new his band Venus 3 - which also features REM's Peter Buck.

The 2007 event will also feature cabaret and comedy for the first time, alongside a range of different workshops for all ages. Sessions will range from African drumming to life coaching, yoga to breakdancing and mask making to songwriting.

The Christmas offer includes a weekend ticket with camping, access to backstage hospitality, free souvenir programme and Wychwood ’07 official merchandise - all for the princely sum of £100.

Festival director Graeme Merifield said: "This year we would like to enhance the experience of the festival goer by offering them this opportunity to get closer to the music and musicians through our VIP ticket.
