First Acts For Wickerman Festival

The Orb, Jah Wobble and Eat Static are among the first acts confirmed for next year's Wickerman Festival in Scotland - and tickets for the two-day event are now on sale...

All three bands will play on the Main Stage, while Popup, Copy Haho, The Low Miffs, The Kazoo Funk Orchestra, Miss The Occupier and Saints Judes Infirmary have been booked for the Solus Tent.

The Wickerman Festival takes place at East Kirkcarswell Farm, near Dundrennan, South West Scotland, on Friday and Saturday, 20-21 July, 2007.

Now in its fourth year, the festival embraces cult and off-the-wall music, and famously climaxes in the ritual burning of a giant wickerman structure, just like the one in the 1973 Edward Woodward film. Click here for more info.
