Pete Doherty no-show at Gatecrasher
|
29 May 2007
The troubled rocker disappointed fans when he failed to turn up for his scheduled slot as a guest DJ at the one-day dance festival on Sunday.
The Babyshambles frontman
had to be replaced at the last minute by Preston of The Ordinary Boys.
Fans had paid £40
each to attend the festival and some reportedly felt "conned" out of their money. Doherty has a history of
no-shows, most notably with his current band Babyshambles.
Apart from Doherty skipping his slot and spells of bad weather, the festival was otherwise a success with DJs such as Judge Jules and Dave Pearce performing.
