More bands for WOMAD

The world music festival takes place at Charlton Park, Wiltshire, from 27-29 July.

To commemorate their 25th anniversary, WOMAD will also be releasing a three CD box set that will bring together some of the many highlights from their past quarter century. The release will also include a 96-page book and is due out at the end of July to coincide with the festival.

WOMAD, standing for World of Music, Arts and Dance, brings together many forms of music, arts and dance from countries and cultures around the world. 2007 sees the festival moving to a new home in North Wiltshire from its traditional base in Reading near the Reading Festival site.

Tickets are on sale now from priced at £120 per weekend ticket.
