T4 On The Beach goes Pop

Kaiser Chiefs, Girls Aloud, Amerie and Mutya have all been added to the Main Stage, in what looks to be the event's strongest ever lineup.

Mark Ronson and Badly Drawn Boy, meanwhile, have been confirmed for the 4Music Stage.

Acts previously announced include Mika, Natasha Beddingfield, Akon, Just Jack and the omnipresent Calvin Harris.

Each act will play two or three songs in front of screaming fans and Channel 4 cameras, with the usual T4 presenters helping to beam the event to the TV screens of thousands.

The event is now sold out.
