T In The Park tickets sell out

Thousands of tickets for next year's T In The Park sold out in just 69 minutes.

Tickets for next year's festival went on sale at 9am and were all gone by just after 10am.

The event will take place at Balado, Kinross, from 11-13 June.

More tickets will go on sale in the new year as details of the lineup are released.

Festival boss Geoff Ellis said: "We are delighted to have been able to give music fans the opportunity to book their place at next year’s festival whilst memories of this year are still fresh in their minds. This year undoubtedly paid witness to both the best atmosphere onsite and to staggering performances across all stages.

"Again we applaud the fantastic attitude brought by festival goers who showed massive determination to have a fantastic weekend, despite Friday’s weather. Once the sun came out to shine for the rest of the weekend the mood improved even further. We can’t wait to get started on the organization of next year’s event!"
