V Festival warm up gigs announced

Mr Hudson And The Library are to headline two special V Festival warm up shows in London and Newcastle.

Dragonette and Envy & Other Sins will lend support at the two Virgin Mobile Union shows, which will be held at opposite ends of the country on consecutive nights.

The gigs will take place at Carling Academy 2, Newcastle, on 24 July and Carling Islington Academy, London, on 25 July.

My Hudson And The Library will also be performing in the Virgin Mobile Union arena at V Festival.

He said: “We’re chuffed to be playing these two great gigs on two consecutive nights – a real chance to get out there and try some things before the V Festival this summer.

"The crowd in Newcastle are always great and obviously it’s going to be great to play in front of our home crowd in London. It’s weird to think that normally we’re checking the papers for the V line-ups – this year we’re going to be playing it ourselves."
