Wakestock to stage a second event

The new festival will be held in the gardens of Blenheim Palace, Woodstock, Oxfordshire over the weekend of 27-29 June, a week before its flagship event in North Wales.

The new event will be a similar format, with competition wakeboarding taking place on the lake in front of the palace and bands and DJs entertaining the crowds by night.

It joins the original Wakestock, which takes place at Abersoch, Pwllheli in Gwynedd on 4-5 July.

No acts are confirmed but a limited number of early bird tickets will go on sale tomorrow for both Abersoch and Blenheim via the Wakestock website.
