My Bloody Valentine to play Roskilde

The reformed shoe-gazers join Radiohead and The Chemical Brothers as the most high profile acts so far booked for the Denmark festival, which takes place from 3-6 July.

Holy Fuck, Yeasayer, Teitur and At The Gates have also just been confirmed.

Roskilde takes place in the Danish town of Roskilde and shares a similar ethos to Glastonbury, placing equal emphasis on the peripheral goings on as the big name acts. 

The festival features various workshops, sports and communal activities and is run by volunteers, with a strong green message.
