Festival organisers claim the partnership will be of real benefit to fans, including some more tickets to the sold-out event being made available.
Isle Of Wight Festival director John Giddings said: “We are very excited to form a partnership with one of the world's leading brands Their involvement will benefit the audience experience in a number of ways, yet to be revealed. Here’s to a successful 2008!"
The deal will see BT install branding across the 250 acre site, including an official chill out zone, as well as launch competitions and events around the festival.
This year’s festival bill features headliners Kaiser Chiefs, Sex Pistols and The Police, plus Lily Allen, The Enemy, KT Tunstall, Kate Nash, Iggy and The Stooges, Ian Brown, The Kooks, N.E.R.D, James, The Hoosiers and Scouting for Girls.
