The influential outfit will perform a unique audio visual show in the mediamix, alongside productions by Noise Of Art, The Light Surgeons and Exceeda.

Fujiya & Miyagi, John Shuttleworth, Little Dragon, Múm and Nina Nastasia have also been confirmed for the outdoor stages.

The Big Chill 2008 takes place at Eastnor Park, Herefordshire, over the weekend of 1-3 August.

Big Chill partners Underbelly have unveiled the first batch of comedians who'll be performing every day between 4pm and 11pm.

They include Rob Rouse, Ida Barr, Al Pitcher, Jarred Christmas, Pete Cain, Dave Johns, Ed Petrie, Howard Read, Alistair Barrie, Susan Murray, Jeff Innocent and Jonathan Mayor.

The Word In Motion tent will host Apples And Snakes 'two five' Celebration, Robin Ince, Ben Goldacre, Club de Fromage present Sports Night and Perverse Universe's Victorian Freak Show.

Festival organisers have also announced details of their Kids Stuff programme. Ara Malikian will present 'My First Four Seasons', claytime sessions will be held by Scamp Theatre and Steve Tiplady, poet John Hegley will present Festival Creatures and there will be a Comedy Club 4 Kids.

Tickets are on sale HERE, priced £129 for adults, £110 for students, £60 for teenagers, while
under 13s go free with accompanying adult. Car parking starts at £5 for smaller vehicles.
