Idlewild and Los Albertos for Beautiful Days

Idlewild and Los Albertos are among the latest musical additions for this year's Beautiful Days festival as organisers release the first batch of comedy and spoken word acts.

Transglobal Underground, Pama International, 12 Stone Toddler, Flogging Molly and Degue Fever have also been confirmed today as well as the hotly tipped Cage The Elephant.

Kathryn Williams and Neil Maccoll, Tofu Love Frogs, Megson, Blood Or Whiskey, Enter The Haggis, New York Alcoholic Anxiety Attack and The Fabulous Good Time Party Boys are also on the bill.

The Little Big Top is set to have performances from Hybrid, Eat Static, The Freestyler DJs, Sancho Panza Soundsystem and Beatz and Bobz DJs over the weekend.

John Cooper Clarke, Attila The Stockbroker, Charlie Ottway and Richard Digance are among the first comedy and spoken word names announced alongside Joolz Denby, Dr Dawson's Boogie Band and compere Mark Dolan.

Today's announcements join headliners Squeeze, Supergrass and The Levellers with Alabama 3, Seth Lakeman, Oysterband and Stiff Little Fingers also set for the Devon bash. Click HERE for the latest line-up.

Beautiful Days 2008 takes place at Escot Park, Devon, over the weekend of 15-17 August.
