The Long Blondes for Belladrum

The Long Blondes will make their only Scottish festival appearance of the year at Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival.

Organisers of the two-day Scottish bash have also confirmed that emerging indie band The Red Light Company and rockabilly folkster Pete Molinari will also appear over the weekend.

The Waterboys and Scouting For Girls will headline the event, when it takes place at Belladrum Estate, nearly Beauly, Inverness-shire from 8-9 August.

Other acts on the bill include Cold War Kids, Infadels, Dreadzone, Frightened Rabbit, Elle S'Appelle and Idlewild. Click HERE for the latest line-up.

Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival 2008 returns for its fifth event this summer and it still remains one of the Britain's most northerly festivals.

The festival will include theatre, cabaret and performance art as well as the brand new Verb Garden, which will showcase poetry, comedy debate and performance as well as organic market.
