New bands to grace Hydro Connect

Attic Lights and Zoey Van Goey are among twenty new acts that will perform on Hydro Connect's Your Sound Bandstand.

ERRORS, Broken Records, Lou Hickey, Anna Meldrum and Conor Mason will also appear at the Scottish boutique festival alongside Woodenbox, Endor, Integra TV and GDANSK.

Other names heading north of the border include Galchen, The Moth and the Mirror, Sparrow and the Workshop, The Phantom Band, Amplifico and Brother Louis Collective as well as Emily Scott, A-Lix and We Were Promised Jetpacks.

The bands selected for the bandstand must have featured on the Your Sound monthly playlist. Your Sound is a networking opportunity for budding artists, band managers, promoters and A&R men to network with other industry insiders.

Hydro Connect 2008, which takes place at Inveraray Castle, Loch Fyne, Argyll in Western Scotland from 29-30 August will be headlined by Kasabian, Franz Ferdinand and Bloc Party.
