Redfest was set to take place at Robins Cook Farm, Redhill, Surrey from 4-5 July
with The Maccabees and Patrick Wolf headlining, but today organisers announced the festival
had been cancelled.
A message on their official site read: "Due to the very disappointing tickets sales
we have had no choice but to call the festival off. We are truly sorry to those of you who have bought tickets and thank you
all for your support."
Those who bought tickets are asked to contact their point of purchase for refunds.
In lighter news the Rock and Blues Custom Show has been revived after organisers took the decision
to move the festival to Coneygrey Showground, Pentrich in Derbyshire.
Celebrating its 25th anniversary
the festival will run from 24-26 July with performances from Mars Bonfire, Devilish
Presley and Dr and the Medics. Click HERE
