Fans of the Loch Ness weekender are being invited to book their place for next year's event by laying down a £30 deposit.
They can pay the remainder within six months with the offer running until September 2008. 'Early-bird' tickets go on sale this Thursday (26 June) and will be available here.
Jim King, Rock Ness festival director, said: “Following on from the success of this year’s event we expect demand for 2009 to be greater than ever, and after constructive dialogue with Rock Ness customers we have come up with this scheme. It’s our way of helping our customers guarantee they’ll be coming to Rock Ness next year without having to pay out a large sum of money in one go.”
This latest move follows hot on the heels of the recent third Rock Ness, which saw over 35,000 fans descend on arguably the banks of Loch Ness.
A raft of international acts including Razorlight, Fatboy Slim, Editors, Underworld, The View, Soulwax and more played at this year’s bash, which took place on 7-8 June.
