The Proclaimers will appear on the Main
Stage on Saturday 12th July. Ed Harcourt has also been confirmed.
The brothers Craig and
Charlie Reid commented "We are delighted to be playing this year's Tenth birthday T in the Park. We very much enjoyed
playing there two years ago and are looking forward to playing the Main Stage this time. We'll be playing some of the familiar
songs as well as a couple from the new album we are currently recording."
2001 saw The Proclaimers raising the roof of the then tented Stage
2. The electrifying atmosphere created by the band and the T in the Park crowd was like Hampden
and Hogmanay all rolled into one, with the supercharged crowd singing, screaming, and dancing along
to the Fifers' classics like I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles), Letter from America, and King
of the Road.
Over the last 15 years and 5 albums, The Proclaimers
have proved that they have a well-earned place in the history of Scottish pop. With their triumphant return this year, they
are assured a place in T in the Park history too.
This weekend marks the 3 month countdown to Scotland's biggest birthday party, and with tickets selling faster than ever before, T in the Parkers have just 3 days left to take advantage of the special weekend ticket offer. Don't miss out! Get yours now from the Virtual Festivals Ticket Store!
