Last chance to vote in Tartan Clef Music Awards
United Kingdom | |
15 August 2008
The Best Live Act award has been set up to recognise live music in Scotland and the winner will be decided by fans.
Voting closes on Monday (18 August) and you can do so HERE.
Fratellis’ frontman Jon Fratelli said: “The live music experience in Scotland is brilliant man. There is nothing better than being on a stage in Scotland, playing really loud and seeing our fans sing, smile and jump around. It was like that again at T in the Park this year - the whole crowd was totally bouncing with people from all over the world brought together by their love of our music. This is what music is meant to do! I hope our fans enjoyed it as much as we did and will nominate our set for VisitScotland’s Best Live Act!”
People can nominate any live act that has performed in Scotland from June 07 to August 08 - from last year’s festival highlights such as the Guillemots or KT Tunstall at the Outsider Festival in Rothiemurchus or Primal Scream, Bjork or King Creosote at last year’s Connect festival, right up to headliners such as The Verve or REM at this years T In The Park.
