The Young Knives added to London Airwaves

The one-day event takes place at nine venues throughout the Shoreditch area of London on Friday, 19 September.

It is being held to celebrate 10 years of the Iceland Airwaves festival and will also feature sets by Wild Beasts, Florence And The Machine, Metronomy, The Whip, Dead Kids and The Teenagers. Full line up HERE.

The Young Knives have been announced as headliners for the festival. Singer Henry said: "We're really honored to be playing this intimate gig in Shoredtich. It's a place out of our comfort zone, but we're going to make this the usual fun, punky gig"

London Airwaves will work like other one-night festivals, such as Camden Crawl and Dot-To-Dot, whereby fans will be able to access any venue, subject to capacity, with one wristband.
