Primal Scream & more confirmed for Reading and Leeds!

Primal Scream, The Libertines, Electric Six, Hot Hot Heat and Interpol have joined the line-up of the Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds Festivals, and we can reveal the day/ stage breakdown!

The Polyphonic Spree, The Music and AFI have been confirmed to headline the Radio1 Stage at this year's Reading and Leeds festivals. The Main Stage headliners Linkin Park, Blur and Metallica will also be joined by Primal Scream, The Libertines and The Datsuns. Beck, White Stripes, Placebo, Good Charlotte, Courtney Love and System Of A Down, The Streets, Blink 182 and Doves have previously been confirmed to appear.

Other acts confirmed for the Radio 1 Stage include Elbow, Interpol, Hundred Reasons, Hot Hot Heat, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Electric Six. Acts will alternate across the two sites over the weekend of 22-24th August.

VirtualFestivals can exclusively reveal that Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and our favourite new band Kinesis, will also play at the UK's largest rock festival, taking place at Little John's Farm, Reading, and Temple Newsham in Leeds.
