Names emerge for Africa Express at Electric Proms

Johnny Marr, former guitarist of The Smiths, is set to perform alongside Foals, The Aliens and Africa Express regulars Hard-Fi, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly and Reverend and the Makers.

African acts set to perform during the show include Baab Maal, Amadou and Mariam and Toumani Diabete. The show takes place at Koko in Camden, north London on 22 October.

BBC Electric Proms takes place at various venues in London and Liverpool from 22-26 October with Oasis, Razorlight, Burt Bacharach and The Last Shadow Puppets performing.
