Skin, White Stripes & New Tent announced for T in the Park!

Both Skin (from Skunk Anansie) and The White Stripes will play the Main Stage on Saturday 12th July. T in the Park also announces the new 'X' Stage with acts including Athlete, Kinesis, Har Mar Superstar and OK GO...

T in the Park will be featuring a new 2000 capacity stage at this year's event. The X Tent will be bringing a selection of hot new talent from around the world to the Tenth Year of T - meaning that there will be a total of 9 stages - more than any previous year.

Geoff Ellis, CEO of promoters DF Concerts says:

"The X-Tent is a one-off tenth birthday surprise from T in the Park to thank the fans that have helped make the festival the success that it is. It has also allowed us to provide a challenging, and eclectic line-up of talent, giving us the opportunity to book more of the bands that we are sure will go on to become hugely successful acts over the next couple of years."

Line-up announced today as follows:

Saturday:- Athlete, Cosmic Rough Riders, Har Mar Superstar, Kings of Leon, The Zutons, The Rain Band (+ 4 TBC)

Sunday:- The Rapture, Tom McRae, OK GO, Ron Sexsmith, The All American Rejects, Kinesis, Funeral for a Friend, Myslovitz (+2 TBC)
