Cardigans, Death in Vegas & more for T in the Park

Cardigans, Death in Vegas, The Thrills, The Bandits and more have joined the line-up for T in the Park 2003 which takes place in Balado, Scotland on July 12 and 13...

Saturday July 12 sees The Cardigans take to the Main Stage, sandwiched cosily between Idlewild and The Proclaimers. Brett Johnson and Mash (aka Jengaheads) have been added to the Slam Dance Tent. Legendary former Stone Roses guitarist (and now frontman) John Squire has been upgraded to Stage 2 (from King Tut's Tent) due to popular demand!

On Sunday July 13, Death in Vegas will unleash their sonic assault on the King Tut's crowd, whilst The Thrills and The Bandits will ransack the new X Tent. Green Velvet will perform a DJ set in the Slam Tent.

In other T in the Park news, the capacity for the festival's Tenth year is increasing from 52,500 to over 55,000 per day - a good thing, considering the tickets are selling three times faster than last year, making T in the Park look set for a very early sell out.
