By Train:
Nearest station to Worthy Farm is
Castle Cary. This is on the main line from London to Plymouth served by
First Great-Western Trains, and
also includes connestions from Reading. Trains go direct from Paddington to Castle Cary, where ticket holders
can catch a free suttle bus to the site (only valid for ticket holders) which runs from Wednesday morning till Monday evening.
There are also trains provided by Wessex
Trains to other destinations including Bristol.
By Bus:
Badgerline
are laying on linked services from Bath and Bristol as well as regular services from Glastonbury
and Shepton Mallet direct to Glastonbury site.
Glastonbury site has an excellent bus station on its gounds
which makes arriving by bus the easiest as it is the by far the shortest walk to the site.
Buses run from Castle
Cary Station to bus station on site from Wednesday morning to Monday evening.
By Coach:

By Car:
From London: M3 then A303 and A37.From the North East: A1 or M1, M25 to M3 (Junction 12), then A303 and
A37.
From the Midlands: Preferably M40 and A34 to A303 and A37.
From the North West:
M6, M5 to A39 (Junction 23) then A361.
From Wales: M4, M5 to A39 (as above)
From the West Country:
A37 or A361
If you do decide to bring your car to Glastonbury Festival please be aware that a special ticket costing £5 is required to park your car.
There are two main entrances for cars, depending where you are coming from, but if you have a choice - approach from the
A303 then A37 (Blue Route), where there is more parking space and less queueing. This year there is a new additional route
added to the Blue Route, making it less likely to be jammed. If at all possible, avoid the peak time between noon and midnight
on Thursday. Worst times to leave by car are Sunday evening and Monday between 9am and 4pm, when long delays can be enjoyed.
By
Plane:
There are no connecting services operated by the festival from the Airports.
BRISTOL AIRPORT
The closest international airport to Glastonbury Festival is Bristol
International Airport. This airport serves a number of European destinations. There is a regular bus link from Bristol airport
called the "Bristol International Flyer" which can take you from the airport to Bristol Temple Meads
railway station. Regular buses go from Temple Meads to the festival bus station on our site. Bus details
have not yet been confirmed.
