Lollapalooza means 'remarkable or wonderful person or thing' and the roots of the festival attempt to
encapsulate the youth culture of the 1990s as Woodstock did in the 1960s.
The two-day event selects a wide variety
of acts spanning rock, hip hop, punk and dance and it also has comedians performing over the weekend. The children's area
has a hip hop workshop, rock n roll petting zoo and a dance floor.
