MARYPORT BLUES FESTIVAL 2007

The picturesque town of Maryport, Cumbria is the location for the annual Maryport Blues Festival. Now in its ninth year, the festival has attracted names such as Buddy Guy, Dionne Warwick and Jools Holland.

The main acts perform at the local Netherhall rugby ground but the festival has its own 'trail' where around 25 artists play around different locations of the town. The 'trail' sets to showcase some of the smaller acts from the blues scene as the festival brings in international musicians form the US, UK, Australian, Italy and Germany.
